Happy New Year, Friends!
We hope you had a wonderful Christmastime and pray your 2018 is off to a good and peaceful start. After the business of the Holidays, and the week in-between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve where none of us know what day it is, a day to rest, reflect, and set intentions is much needed. Let this day be a reminder of newness of life, new mercies, and sufficient grace in Jesus. (Side note: This is my absolute favorite day of the year. The Holidays can be overwhelming for some, and I feel like New Years Eve is mainly enjoyable for extroverts and New Years Day is where introverts thrive. (This is definitely Sarah typing in case you couldn't tell!) On this day, everyone is quiet and introspective and can enjoy the stillness of renewal.
January is going to be pretty busy for us. Jacob is excited to be speaking at Soul Rio's Underground Student Ministry this week and at Aldan Union's DNOW Event in Aldan, PA at the end of January. Sarah's birthday is on the 10th and we will celebrate by not mentioning that she has reached the age where she can no longer bum off her parents' health insurance plan #HashtagStayHealthy #SendFrankincense.
Thank you for being a part of this Newsletter, for keeping us in your prayers, and just caring about us. You not only support this journey God has brought us on, you are on it right along with us. We are so blessed to have a community as large and intentional as you are. Thank you for being faithful to God's call in your life. It means more than you know.
In all grace and peace,
Jacob + Sarah
